Trixie goes on an adventure to Holland to visit her Oma & Opa. First plane ride for Trixie and Knuffle Bunny. If you're familiar with Knuffle Bunny like I am, you know Trixie is going to lose Knuffle Bunny somewhere. Where she loses Knuffle Bunny and how she comes to terms with the possibility of never seeing Knuffle Bunny again makes this the best of the Knuffle Bunny books. 
The best part of the book is Mo Willem's dedication to his daughter, Trixie, at the end of the story. Even though this is a book for kids, any parent would enjoy the Knuffle Bunny series.


Of course, you can't forget to look for pigeon hidden in the story! 


Recommended for Grades K-2.

Library Closed for Presidents' Day Holiday

All branches of the Burlington County Library System will be CLOSED on Monday, February 21, 2011 for the Presidents' Day Holiday. 

The main library in Westampton WILL be open Monday, February 21, 2011 9am-5pm.

Branches will re-open for regular hours on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at 10:00 am. 

So You Think You're Creative Library Art Contest

Submit your artwork to correspond with chosen themes during February, March & April to be displayed in the Library! Artwork will be voted on by library patrons and library staff. Most votes at the end of the 4 month period wins a prize!

Each piece of artwork (limit is 3 per contest) must be submitted with an Entry Form. PRINT one before visiting the library or pick one up at the Circulation Desk.


So You Think You're Creative Art Contest will run three times a year for young artists ages 5-18 years. 

First contest of 2011 ends April 30th so get your entries in with the themes for January-April. Artists that participated in the January-April Contest will be contacted in May to pick her their artwork.

Vote for your favorite at the Children's Information Desk!



Themes were decided by the Pemberton Library Teen Advisory Board (TAB).

Music to Move By with Ann Wild

Ann Wild presented her program, Music to Move By, to our smallest library patrons from babies to toddlers on Wednesday, February 2nd and it was a musical blast!

Parents and children played with shakers, drums, scarves, parachute games and listened to Ann Wild play her guitar!  Moms and Dads learned new ways to introduce current popular music to their children - you don't just have to listen to the Wiggles & Raffi. Good time was had by all!
